Our town has the StreetView (thanks(?) to Google). You can virtually enter the lane on which I live and peer over the swimming pool too.
The clarity is the same as you virtually drive over Salt and Pepper Bridge on Boston or visit the Fifth Avenue in Manhattan!
Google Street View is a feature of Google Maps introduced last year that provides 360° panoramic street-level views and allows users to view parts of selected cities and their surrounding metropolitan areas at ground level.
In the StreetView, the photos displayed were previously taken by a camera mounted on an automobile!!!You the arrow keys and you can even see the car on which the camera was mounted.
